Frequently Asked Questions

What is a submission / completed workflow?
frevvo's Cloud pricing is a usage-based model that takes into account the number of submissions in a given month or year (your billing period). A billed submission occurs only when a production form or workflow (see below for definition of production form/workflow) is completed. If your users save a partially completed form or workflow to continue it later, the saved submission does not incur any cost. If frevvo saves your workflow because it is being routed to a different person or role, the saved submission does not incur any cost.

Your bill is based only on submissions for completed forms or workflows.

What is overage?
Overage per submission is the price you will be billed for extra submissions in any given year above your plan limit and applies only to Cloud plans. For example, if your plan has 3,600 submissions but you submit 4,000 in the plan year, you will be billed the per extra submission charge (overage) for the 400 extra submissions. Alternatively, you may upgrade your plan at any time during the plan year by paying the difference in price between tiers.

What is a production form/workflow?
frevvo's On-Premise pricing/licensing plans take into account the number of forms/workflows you have deployed for production use. You may create unlimited forms and workflows for testing purposes. A workflow may contain any number of forms and other steps; it still counts as a single unit for pricing purposes. For example, let's say you have deployed
  • An Event Registration Form. A single form that simply sends an email when submitted.
  • A Quote Request Workflow. Has one form, an Email step for the vendor, and an approval step.
  • An Employee On-Boarding Workflow. It contains multiple forms that a new employee fills out, several approval steps etc.
For pricing purposes, you have three (3) production forms/workflows.

What is a concurrent user?
frevvo's On-Premise pricing plans take into account the number of concurrent users of the system. A user is anyone that is authenticated (logged in) for any reason including:
  • Designing a form.
  • Digitally signing the form (when user identification is required).
  • Workflow: viewing pending tasks, maintaining an audit trail etc.
  • Using an external security manager (e.g. Active Directory) with Single Sign On.
Concurrent users are simply users that are logged in simultaneously e.g. if you have deployed a Sales Process Automation workflow, estimate the peak number of simultaneous users. If you exceed your license, remaining users will see an error message asking them to try later.

Anonymous users (not logged in) do NOT count and are not limited by the license. Common examples are filling out a survey or a contact form.
